Champions

Even before the creation of Friday Night Overwatch Fights, we’ve had championships up for grabs.

World Heavyweight Championship

The World Heavyweight Championship is our flagship championship, with the winner being determined by a 1v1 Mystery Hero Duel, first to 7 match in Overwatch.

Back on December 2, 2016, we had a 1v1 Tournament where the winner became the World Heavyweight Champion. Frumpy was our inaugural champion, a title that he would go on to win several more times.

Intercontinental Championship

The Intercontinental Championship is our other Overwatch championship, with the winner being determined by a 1v1 Pick your hero lockout duel, first to 7 match in Overwatch.

The Intercontinental Championship was created during the 2017 Chatot Dungeon Awards in a match between Sobbingraxn and The Chef.

Minecraft Deathmatch Championship

The Minecraft Deathmatch Championship is our flagship championship for Minecraft Deathmatch. It is won by being the last person alive at the end of Minecraft Deathmatch. The Champion will get to select the mods and seed for the next Minecraft Deathmatch.

The idea for Minecraft Deathmatch came from the FNOF crew, who was feeling like they wanted to do some Minecraft. Chef came up with a Battle Royale-style Deathmatch in Minecraft, and a modpack was put together by all participants.

Minecraft Deathmatch Turbo Championship

The Minecraft Deathmatch Turbo championship is our other Minecraft Deathmatch championship. It is won by being the last person alive at the end of Minecraft Deathmatch Turbo, a speedier version of Minecraft Deathmatch where the server is only online for 24 hours before the Deathmatch takes place. The mods are pre-determined, but the Champion has complete control over the seed of the map.
