About Us

We live by one motto: WE FIGHT ON FRIDAY NIGHT.

And we’ve done so since August 4, 2017! At least as the stream you see today.

The FNOF crew has been playing together since Overwatch came out back in 2016. Skylar originally hosted the stream before Chef took it over on August 4, 2017, when FNOF was born. Every year on the first Friday in August, FNOF hosts its Anniversary stream, where we’ve always had a long-duration stream with special guests, giveaways, and of course, Fights!

We’re always open to new fights, and if you’re interested in fighting one of the FNOF crew, or even settling your own fight, check out our Fight Form!

The First Episode: August 4, 2017

The first FNOF Broadcast: Friday, August 4, 2017

Back in August 2017, Skylar was unable to host the stream. Chef decided to host it, and Friday Night Overwatch Fights was born. In the duration of the stream, a huge five-man res from Sky playing as Mercy took place.

The First Anniversary: August 3, 2018

Our first Anniversary on August 3, 2018 had none other than Goldenboy join us. Goldenboy was around for the first two hours of the stream. Chef was able to contact Goldenboy from meeting him at the Blizzard Arena about 2 months prior to stream, and invited Goldenboy to FNOF a week before the stream took place. Goldenboy joining the Discord was a complete surprise to everyone, save for Bryandagamer and Sobbingraxn. Goldenboy also crowned the first ever FNOF Play of the Year in the duration of the stream.

The Second Anniversary: August 2, 2019

The Second Anniversary of FNOF took place on August 2, 2019, and featured two championship fights: Bryandagamer vs Frumpy for the World Heavyweight Championship, and Sobbingraxn vs The Chef to crown the inaugural Intercontinental Championship. One of the biggest changes with this FNOF was the introduction of the brand new Graphics package, including the FNOF logo, skillfully created by BTR Designs.

The Third Anniversary: August 7, 2020

2020 was a year of challenges worldwide. The FNOF meetup never took place due to the worldwide pandemic, but that never killed our spirits. This Anniversary includes one of the most complicated videos I’ve ever edited as the intro, and features two championship matches, as well as some giveaways and tons of fun.
